The SBI PO preliminary examination consists of Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The following section discusses the headings and sub-headings of the sections asked in the SBI PO Preliminary Exam:

The SBI PO Mains Exam consists of four sections:
1.Analysis and Interpretation of Data
2.Logical Reasoning and Computer Aptitude
3.General/Economic/Banking Knowledge
4. The English Language

The SBI PO Mains syllabus also includes a descriptive test. The descriptive test consists of two 25-point questions, one letter writing and one essay, for a total of 50 points.
To be eligible for the SBI PO mains exam, candidates must also pass the descriptive test.

    SBI PO Phase III

    Psychometric Test- The Bank may administer a psychometric test to those candidates who are shortlisted for Phase III. The test results may be presented to the interview panel in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of the candidates.

    This is the final stage of selection for candidates who have passed the first two stages of the SBI PO exam. The Group Discussion is worth 20 points, while the Interview is worth 30.

    1. In each category, the aggregate marks of all candidates who pass both the Objective and Descriptive tests will be arranged in descending order.
    2. The Bank will call a predetermined number of candidates in each category for Group Exercises and interviews.
    3. The Bank will determine the qualifying marks for the Group Discussion and Interview.

    SBI PO 2022 Final Selection

    The following factors are considered when calculating the final score for the SBI PO Exam:

    Preliminary Exam (Phase-1) marks will not be considered for selection.
    To be eligible, candidates must qualify for both Phases 2 and 3.
    Candidates\\\’ marks in the SBI PO Mains Exam (out of 250) are converted to out of 75, while marks in Group Exercises & Interview (out of 50) are converted to out of 25. This results in a new total score of 100 (Mains + GD/PI).
    The final merit list for each category is based on the aggregate score out of 100. Candidates with the highest merit rank in each category are ultimately chosen.
